About

We build the unglamorous software that gets a van full of stops to the last one faster — route optimization, dispatch, and proof of delivery in one place.

Why we started

We came out of operations teams, not a lab. We'd watched dispatchers rebuild the same morning routes by hand on a whiteboard, then spend the afternoon fielding "where's my driver?" calls because nobody could see the fleet once it left the depot. The tools that promised to fix it were either enterprise suites that took six months to roll out, or consumer navigation apps that knew nothing about time windows or vehicle capacity.

The work in the middle — sequence the stops well, get them onto the driver's phone, and show dispatch what's happening — is unglamorous and unforgiving. Get it wrong and drivers miss windows and customers wait all day. So teams keep patching it together instead of running their operation.

What we do about it

RouteKey plans the day's routes against real constraints, pushes them to a driver app, and streams progress and proof back to the board. It's meant to be live by the end of a week, not the end of a quarter — you import a day of stops, we show you the optimized version, and you decide.

We're deliberately not a warehouse or order-management system. We don't want to own your inventory or your customers — there are good products for that, and being in that path means being in the way.

Where we're at

We're a small team in Austin, we onboard fleets one at a time, and we'd rather do routing and dispatch well than bolt on features that pull us away from it. If that's the stage you want to work with, we'd like to hear from you.
